Burger Express in Federal Way

An institution. One of the best places to eat in the area. Have the buffalo burger. Don't miss their shakes.

This places food is pretty good. Uncut style fries if your into that. The milk shakes are normally super awesome but tonight I got a poorly mixed one that was a straw and a half full of syrup. The line and drive through tonight was also extra bad and took forever. It will be awhile before I get to come back probably. Lets hope it will redeem next time!

We have eaten here a few times, and every time it's been great! The shakes are amazing!!

If you like waiting 45 minutes for a burger its a great fit!!!I m sure the quality is great but never again!

Charbroiled burger goodness. The fried mushrooms were also excellent. A bit of a wait, but we'll worth it, everything's is made fresh and tasty. Generous portions, we will be back to try more.

This place is a gem in an odd location on Pac Highway. If you stop by make sure you grab some onion rings and one of their awesome shakes. The onion rings stay crispy even as leftovers the next day (assuming they make it that long). The shakes (my favorite: strawberry and pineapple) never make it home.The drive-through, however, barely qualifies as "fast food." The food more than makes up for it, though.

I love this place. I love the fish and chips. This time I went for the Boz burger. Amazing!!! Ate it too fast for a picture.

Bacon cheeseburger was the bomb! Hand cut fries and sweet potato fries were amazing! New favorite burger place for my husband, daughter and me!

Best 🍔 joint in town, we are in town from Arizona. If you are really hungry try the Boss Burger, it will fill you up. Hard working employees; place needs a full renovation though.

I have never in my life heard that there is NO, and yes I said NO night time manager or boss, all there is is workers, the front order, the cook and drive person. According to the front order workers (some young lady or kid) she has no idea who the manager is, what time he/she comes in ect. What is this world coming to. NEVER again shall I eat or order from there, from what she told me, those young workers can do anything without supervision. Do they have their food handlers card? If I could, I would give a minus star. Hope the owner/manager sees this and contacts me.

Good old-fashioned hamburgers-hot and juicy! Comes with a generous side of fries. Grab some extra napkins, you're going to need them!

We passed by this place from the post office, and couldn't resist dropping by, so glad we did. They have good servings, the food was delicious and the service is good as well! Leave a tip always,they deserve it. 11/10 would come back.

We've been going here for over 15 years. Still one of our favorite hamburgers! The only problem is deciding whether to get their delicious fries or their delicious onion rings! Tip: I find the "smaller" burger basket is plenty of food for me, if you can resist not trying one of their gourmet burgers!

Best burger place i have ever been too. No joke!!! Got Fair burger with fried mushrooms and oreo milkshake as a meal. Prices were pretty fair compared to others good burger joints. Only part that sucks is paying 25 cents per sauce of ranch since i already spent $30. That should be included in price. I grew up on this place and is just as good as 15yrs ago. Only the BEST!!!!

This was a good experience. Got a burger and fries to take home and eat. The staff was friendly too. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the burger was and the fries were not bad either. My overall take is that this place has great food. You will not be disappointed

Great food. Customer service was okay. I ordered the Cali Chkn burger. I ate the whole thing in no time very tasty. The fries were basically street fries but still good. I think they should salt the fries it's a burger joint I'm sure no one comes there to eat healthy also they should change the oil. The strawberry/banana shake was very good and fresh. Overall 4.5

Never had a bad experience at Burger Express. The food is delicious; the Mt. High burger is AMAZING and their chicken strips are awesome. They offer malts but just have shakes on the menu, so don’t forget to ask! The restaurant is always clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The young man who’s helped me a couple times at the register is always in a good mood and very nice. Love this place!

This is the best burger joint in Federal Way. Burgers are like “better than” Fair Burgers! The only way to get charcoaled, tasty, premium beef burgers! The fries are real potatoes, with skin on and scrumptiously delicious! You’ll never eat anywhere else once you try Burger Express!

Great burgers and fries like my mom used to make!

First time customer. Had a great fish sandwich, best! The fries needed more salt but ok. My disappointment was the greasy grimmieness of the restaurant. Front door very diry, the cooler we got our beers from, the condiment holders and our table, all need daily wipe downs. My husband really liked his Char burger.

Love the Buffalo burger. I get it with no bun. Added cheddar and bacon. Perfect.

I have been going to this establishment for over 20 years. They have not as much as change a door handle or a picture in the place. But the food remains outstanding!

I haven't been here in over ten years because I was just nowhere convenient to it, but after all this time the food was just so good as I remember. I had a mushroom Swiss burger and onion rings and thoroughly enjoyed them.

Great little burger joint with fantastic food and even better milkshakes! There is a drive through though it is limited but lots of parking.

Food is over priced had Bacon Cheese Burger Fries and Shake. Was not Satisfied with the taste of my meal very Disappointed. They open the Dining Area but do not Allow Customers to use their Restrooms Unacceptable and Unbelievable. I Do Not Reccomend anyone to eat there.

One of the only independent burger chains in Federal Way. Good burgers and shakes/malts. I really like the Mushroom Swiss one. If your man always asks "How big is it?" Order him "The Boz" has everything even comes with an egg! Or the Fair burger. Must try a Pineapple Shake on a hot day. Fried mushrooms are delicious too!

Best deep fried mushrooms and great kids working a good burger joint.

A fair price for a good burger and decent sized portions. This is not your healthy food stop, its your comfort food stop. The drink selection is a little limited but still worth it for the overall meal. The onion rings were nice and large but the fries needed something - maybe seasoning or a cheese and bacon fry option. Still, I would recommend if you're craving a burger or other standard American lunch flavors.

Best Burgers in Washington State!!! There is not even a close second!!! Get here!!!
